Description
Axson Fast Cast 160 is an easy-to-handle polyurethane with very high quality. This polyurethane, with a mixing ratio of 1:1, emits no oil while curing. The polyurethane is once cured ideally suited to painting, drilling, sawing, milling and sanding. The Fast Cast 160 is characterized by its simple operation and multifunctional applicability (also for thinner parts) but also, and above all by his rapid dimensional stability. After the curing time of 30 minutes you can no longer bend the polyurethane. This polyurethane is excellent to use our i.c.m. polyurethane/epoxy colours. Because the polyurethane as low viscous, a relatively large quantity of filler can be added.

* The above values are at a mixture with a total volume of 250 ml. At larger volumes and/or at an temperature higher than 20 degrees the processing time shortened.
Processing
Add the component A and B in the right proportion (weight: A:B = 100:100) and mix well. It is possible to include a polyurethane dye and mix again until an even color. You can also add a filler if you want to make the polyurethane lighter or heavier.
The polyurethane is now ready to be cast. The Fast Cast 160 has a working time of 150 seconds and is demouldable after 30 minutes. The final properties are achieved after the resin is fully cured (24 hours).
Important
Because the Fast Cast 160 has a short processing time, it is important to process not to much at once. Use a mixing bucket with large surface to the potlife. The moisture sensors in these products can settle which renewed mixing for use is required. You can achieve this by packing intensive to shake before use. Polyurethane is (in liquid form) very sensitive to humidity (also high humidity).
Packing
Fast Cast 160 can be delivered in a kit containing: 0,25 kg. A-component + 0,25 kg. B-component or 0,5 kg. A + 0,5 kg. B, or 4,5 kg. A + 4,5 kg. B.
Durability
This Polyurethane is best stored in a dry place between 6oC and 28oC. Opened packages should be processed as quickly as possible to ensure product quality. The shelf life of well-closed containers in the manner indicated is usually 6 months.
Safety
In liquid form this product is harmful to your health. Avoid skin contact with either component. Vapors of this product may cause respiratory irritation with prolonged or frequent use.
